The Fullerton Museum Center is the perfect place to soak in local history, art, and culture. Winter Fest OC offers seasonal fun for the whole family from late November through December. Mission San Juan Capistrano

Tap into some California history this holiday season with a visit to Mission San Juan Capistrano. Founded in 1776 by Spanish Catholics, it’s one of the oldest structures still standing in California today. The mission grounds transport you back in time with original bells, fountains, gardens and chapels straight out of the late 18th century. From December 8-11, the mission will host Las Posadas, a reenactment of Mary and Joseph seeking shelter before the birth of Jesus. Fullerton Arboretum
